can't breathe. . .covered in boxes. . .

Just wanted to pop in and say hello!

This is pretty much what I have to do to get a smile on my face while we are unpacking all these wretched boxes.  It's not so much the unpacking that is bothersome, it's that it takes so long because I have another job that takes all my time: namely feeding, dressing, refereeing, bathing, protecting, and toting around 2 other kids.  Oh! and then there's that newborn!  Who I would just like to curl up with on the couch and not do anything else expect stare at and examine every little feature on her.

The bright side is, I unpacked my fabric and it was so happy and lovely to see again.  AND this house is much more spacious than our last place.  I love it so much!

Anyway, hoping to get back to normal again here soon.  I'm finding it hard to sit and have both hands free to type, download pictures or even think straight.  Currently, all 3 of my kids are napping.  That's why you get to hear from me!

I hope you've enjoyed our guest Sew and Tell-ers!  I have, they've done an amazing job.  Expect to see some more guests throughout the summer.

xoxo

PS - go check out pinksuedeshoe's PINK WEEK GIVEAWAY!  If you enter and win the clutch, you have to give it to me for referring you over there.  No pressure.  :)

Hooray for 3 kids taking a nap at the same time! That is an amazing feat. Hope you got a lot done - good luck with those boxes! (And hooray for more space too!)

It's great to see that you are back and blogging. I'm glad that all is going well with the move and the baby.

Did you drug them to get them all napping at the same time? ;-)

Ha ha, I love that picture! Best of luck getting settled . . . moving is the worst!!!

Amy, don't tell people about that! It will lessen my odds and I need that clutch. :) It is divine. Oh, and if she chooses on merit, I think I should win. A hot pink lab coat? Who can beat that?! :)

We are unpacking boxes too. We just moved in today. Our move was only 3 miles away though. Good luck with the boxes.

Congrats! We've found having one room completely unpacked to retreat to works wonders, hopefully you're already to that point. :-)

I can't imagine moving, much less having children (and a newborn!) in the process. Take it easy, and ask for and accept lots of help! Don't worry, you don't have to unpack all of the boxes. Ever.

I'm with Shasta...I once didn't find unopened boxes until the next move...how's the closet space in your new house (that's where I hid the boxes! :)

Glad to hear you're awake enough to post and unpack!

Hang in there! I do think that unpacking is the worst part...because you get more help with the packing and the move itself, but the unpacking, it involves all these decisions: Do I need this? Where do I put this? Why did I buy this? Ah!

My moves always involve the hubby jumping straight in to the new job, working WAY too hard, and I'm stuck home with little ones, I don't know where anything is (this was before blessed GPS). Memories of just getting on one road and driving straight on it to get Liam to fall asleep and being terrified of getting lost are fresh in my mind 11 years later! Also...losing it with the hubby 6 years ago and wailing about unpacking - so to "help" he would come home during lunch, open a few boxes up, take the stuff out, leave it in a pile, break down the box, and he's like "there, I helped with unpacking". Ah! Still drives me NUTS!

Too much sharing I'm sure, but wanted to let you know that I Feel your PAIN!

Hang in there...and remember, boxes with fabric over them make great tables! ;-)
