getting there, but not completely

Guess what?  I think I may be getting back to normal.  Do you need some evidence?

1.  I've ordered some fabric and have a plan.
How about this lovely stack I got in the mail the other day?

Yes, some LOVE-ly Amy Butler, and NICE-y Jane by Heather Bailey.  I'm working on bedding for Magpie and another dress for Miss Alison.  I'm using that same Simplicity pattern that I made the other dress out of.  But using several different prints.  I'm excited to show it to you!

2.  I actually finished the LOVE quilt!  YAY!! It's so cute, but I'm going to wait to show it to you.  I have a surprise!

3. I went kayaking last night with a bunch of ladies from church.  It was awesome.  North Carolina beaches rock!  I didn't actually get a picture of the water though, didn't want to risk dropping the camera in the water!

4.  I'm writing a post that isn't for sew & tell.  PLUS, I'm actually visitng AND commenting on blogs!  It's still hard sometimes when I'm on the computer and nursing or holding the baby.  It's hard to type one-handed, but I'm getting pretty good at it!

Now if I could just get my house put together so it looks like some organized grown up people live here.  Oh wait. . . did I say organized? . . .

Just picked up on you multi tasking computer and baby, etc. I would like to suggest that you focus on the baby while you are feeding. That baby is going to be gone in a blink of any eye, or so it will seem when you look back. The computer and the quilting will still be there. Enjoy the baby and the quiet sit still time you have, even if there are three thousand things to do.... from a mom who is looking back..

Hooray for getting back to normal! Glad you had a fun night out kayaking - it's always nice to have a little time away from the mom duties!

Um, that kayak pic is AWESOME! I think I need to be a part of your church. Mine is not doing anything nearly so fun :o)

I always forget how much I like that Nicey Jane until I see it again (usually from you). Yeah, I wish my ward went kayaking!

That fabric is heavenly. Kayaking was a blast. Can't wait to see the surprise. You are right, the beaches in NC are awesome, especially with good friends. Thanks for the fun day.

Good to hear! I believe organization is overrated. Having fun with little ones and fabric is much higher on the list of priorities:)

Yummy stack of fabric!
I remember walking about the house trying to help out older kids while nursing, multi-tasking at it's best :)

I still can't keep my house organized, so don't feel bad :)
