tap, tap, is this thing on? anyone there?

Hey friends!! Sorry I have been so MIA. Remember how I told you I had some exciting news? Well here it is:

YES! He's home! We're all back together again!

I didn't really talk about it much here, even though I know a lot of you knew he was deployed.  I took a security class shortly after he left and then got paranoid about how much information I put online about him and his work.  I figured it was safer to err on the side of caution.  So it was a long 7 months and I am so glad he's back.  I'm starting to feel more normal again due mostly to the fact that I am getting some sleep now!

So I have been sewing.  Quite a bit actually. I'm going to try and get some more posts up here soon.

I've seriously slacked on sew & tell.  I'm not sure I have it in me to do it anymore.  I'm trying to reinvent it a little to make it fun for me again.  Maybe less often.  Maybe more constest driven? I don't know, I'm mulling it over.

How are you?  Anyone still there? Thanks for always being awesome and so supportive!  Blogging friends rock!!

Haven't gone anywhere. No, really, NOWHERE. What a dull life I lead. No, wait, that's not true, I went to Fredericksburg and ran a 1/2 marathon.

Glad you got your happy reunion.

I hear ya! That is fabulous that you have your hubby back by your side. Tell him thanks for serving too.

As far as blogging and such goes, do what makes you happy. :) Heaven knows we moms don't need any extra "chores".
Take care and enjoy that family!

Congratulations! Welcome back to the hubby!
Mine came back in October and I know just how you felt! I was afraid to even post that he was gone or give any minute details. I guess that's better than a lot of people who post times, dates, and places, huh?! Anyway, thank you for giving up your hubby for so long to help keep us safe. :)

I'm so glad that your man is back, and that you were cautious about sharing his deployment! No pressure about sew and tell. Since our school year started, I've been a super slacker. I was doing a 52-week series on waffles on our breakfast blog, and I'm about 14 weeks behind!! Oh well. My family is a good enough cause for a lag in blogging. I do look forward to seeing all of your work, but don't feel pressure. You rock!!

Sorry to be so slow on the uptake here... but YAAY!!!!!! So glad he's home!!!! Hoping you're getting back in the swing of things and "normal" is making it's way back. Just in time for Christmas. :)

(And I've totally had my picture taken at that same spot!!)
